Coppercat Moves To Cardigan Bay

After 6 fantastic years sailing in the Clyde and on the West Coast of Scotland, we've decided to move Coppercat to Porthmadog on the West Coast of Wales. This August we'll therefore be sailing from Loch Fyne, down the East coast of Ireland, eventually crossing the Irish Sea to Porthmadog around Mid August.
Will any other Solarises be in the area over this period. Maybe we could meet up somewhere for a mini Sunrise rally.
After 2 years deliberations, we've finally got the new cockpit cover fitted which will allow us to sail whilst totally undercover. This cover goes over the stern cabin hatches and the required height does inevitably increase windage. I don't think it messes the beautiful (for a Cat) lines of the Solaris up though and the upshot is that we get fantastic visibiltiy, a new protected accomodation area and can sleep with the stern cabin hatches open with no fear of waking up wet after an overnight rain shower. I've attached some photos.

You won't be far from us in Conwy as the crow flies - but there are a few mountains or a peninsula in the way.
That cockpit cover is enormous. Are there windows in the top as well so you can see the mainsail?

I'm not sure that we'll get to Conway. The plan is to come straight across the Irish Sea to Porthmadog/ Pwllheli depending upon the tide when we arrive. Conway will be a visit for another time.
We don't have windows in the roof of the cover but we do in the roof of hte solid windscreen so that we can see the mainsail.
