Holiday finished, summer just starting!?

So we are back on our berth after 2 weeks cruising and the sun decides to appear! Actually it was a very pleasant cruise, not too hot or cold and a good breeze most of the time. We met some great people, ate some good food and drank probably more than we should have. We have thanked Jadzia for looking after us, washed the salt off her and tidied her up ready for next week-end. Hope everbody else's boating time is going as well as ours this year, happy cruising to you all.

We were on Catkin during the 1st week of July.

No plans to go anywhere in particular, but strong winds were forecast most of the week (and materialised at some point on most days) so all we ended up doing was going out and back a couple of times on the same tide.

At least with a Sunrise its a comfortable base for shore excursions so the week wasn't ruined!

I am just of to White Fin for 3 weeks. I keep her at Port Medoc France (near Bordeaux). Hope to cruise the west coast of France. (always depending on the weather). If anyones interested there are still berths for cat's here. I pay about £3,000.00/annum all in.
